It is Possible to Have a Dream Job!

There are thousands of Americans who go to work and, once there, fantasize about their idea of a “dream job.” Maybe it’s an accountant who wishes to be an interior decorator, or it could be a restaurant manager who really wants to be a landscape designer—no matter the scenario, the fact remains that there are many qualified employees in today’s workforce who just want to do something a little more satisfying. What many of those dissatisfied employees do not realize, though, is that their potential could actually be put to use filling a position that is truly a dream job. The only resources they need, though, are knowing where theses jobs are and who is hiring.
Sunny Resorts
Bummed out from the cold winters of Green Bay, Chicago, or St. Paul? Bummed out from your boring desk job too? Maybe it’s time for you to save up, pack up and head south for the beach—to a resort, that is. Resorts employ a number of people from all levels of experience to fill positions ranging all over the job spectrum. Everyone from culinary masters, masseuses, artists, business managers, lawn caretakers, entertainers and waiters/waitresses are needed to staff a top-notch resort. Even though the hours may include nights and weekends, the sunny atmosphere and beautiful surroundings never become dull!
English Foreign Language Teacher
Do you have aspirations to be a world traveler, or at least see and experience a foreign country, but are tied down to a lackluster job and can’t afford to take an extended vacation? Why not get paid to live on another continent! There are a thousands of positions available overseas to teach students the English language in a classroom setting, and many countries are willing to pay top-dollar for English speakers to teach their native tongue. And because this is currently such a lucrative vocation, it doesn’t take long to find a position right that’s for you. Areas that offer some of the best pay for EFL teachers are Eastern Europe, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Turkey and even the Middle East.
Personal Chef
Are you a pretty good cook, but can’t stand the idea of working in the kitchen of a busy restaurant, and instead would rather work for yourself? Being a personal chef could be exactly the route for you. Though at first this title congers up visions of Hollywood millionaires requesting pâté and lobster for every meal, that isn’t the only role that personal chefs fill. There are thousands of families spread across the nation that would pay good money for home cooked meals prepared in their kitchens and then simply stuffed into their fridges. That means that a personal chef uses the client’s kitchen, the client’s cooking tools, and even the client’s pre-purchased ingredients. Before you know it, a few families have signed up for the service and a small business has been created—and is sure to grow into a long-term venture.
